§ 4.12.080. Inspection and tests.

    It shall be the duty of the owner of any premises where backflow prevention assemblies are installed to have thorough inspections and operational tests made of each assembly at least once a year, or more often in those instances where inspections or tests indicate a need. These inspections and tests shall be at the expense of the owner, and shall be performed by a person approved by the District and the San Bernardino County Health Department as a competent backflow prevention assembly tester. It shall be the duty of the owner to see that these tests are made.

    B.

    The owner shall notify the District in advance when the test is to be undertaken so that a representative of the District may witness the test if desired.
