Chapter 4.12. CROSS-CONNECTIONS |
§ 4.12.040. Policy.
A.
No water service connection to any premises shall be installed or maintained by the District unless the water supply is protected as required by state laws and regulations and this chapter.
B.
Service of water to any premises shall be discontinued by the District if a backflow prevention assembly, as required by this chapter; is not installed, tested, and maintained; or, if it is found that a backflow prevention assembly has been removed or bypassed, or if an unprotected cross-connection exists on the premises.
