§ 1.01.040. Change of name and District logo design.
A.
The Board of Directors hereby changes the name of the District from the Cucamonga County Water District to the Cucamonga Valley Water District in accordance with Water Code Section 31006.
B.
As a result of this resolution, the District shall forthwith be referred to as, and otherwise named, the Cucamonga Valley Water District. Said name shall forthwith be referenced and used on all records, documents, materials and items, and in all contexts and circumstances which may include or use the name of the District.
C.
The Board of Directors hereby changes the logo design of the District as shown in figure 1 below and incorporated herein by reference.
D.
As a result of this resolution, the new logo design of the District shall forthwith be used on all records, documents, materials and items, and in all applicable contexts and circumstances which may include or use the logo design of the District.
The General Manager, or his/her designee, is hereby authorized to implement the name and logo design changes and to otherwise take any and all actions necessary, in his/her discretion, to implement the name and logo design changes in accordance with this resolution. The General Manager may determine, in his/her discretion, to continue the use of any materials or items, such as letterhead, with the previous District name or logo design in order to use up any such stock or inventory before developing or using new materials and items with the new name and logo design.
F.
This resolution, and the resulting name and logo design changes, shall be in full force and effect immediately upon adoption. The General Manager, or his/her designee, shall take any and all actions required for the recording and filing of this resolution as may be required by law including, without limitation, Water Code Section 31006. Such legal requirements include, as applicable, submitting a certified copy of this resolution to the office of the county recorder for recording and sending a certified copy to the California Department of Water Resources.
