§ 6.20.010. Schedule of fees and charges.

  • A.

    Food Service Establishment Fees.

    1.

    Sewer Discharge Permit Application. This fee shall be assessed for new permit applications and renewal permit applications for Food Service Establishments. Applications submitted more than thirty (30) days delinquent shall be assessed a penalty of fifty (50) percent of the application fee. Any application submitted more than sixty (60) days delinquent shall be assessed a penalty of one hundred (100) percent of the application fee: $60.00

    2.

    Sewer Discharge Permit Issuance. This fee shall be assessed for development and issuance of the sewer discharge permit for each Food Service Establishment, for an effective duration of not less than two years from the date of issuance: $120.00

    3.

    Sewer Discharge Permit Modification. This fee shall be assessed for permit modifications requested by a Food Service Establishment, which shall include requests for permit transfer, permit extension, and other approved permit modifications: $60.00

    4.

    Site Inspection. This fee shall be assessed for each periodic site inspection of the food service establishment, wastewater treatment equipment, and maintenance records. A maximum of three billable site inspections shall be assessed per calendar year for each permitted facility. The District may conduct additional site inspections as warranted and necessary: $120.00

    B.

    Non-Domestic Sewer User Fees.

    1.

    Sewer Discharge Permit Application. This fee shall be assessed for new permit applications and renewal permit applications for industrial sewer users and other non-domestic sewer users. This fee shall not apply to food service establishments. Applications submitted more than thirty (30) days delinquent shall be assessed a penalty of fifty (50) percent of the application fee. Any application submitted more than sixty (60) days delinquent shall be assessed a penalty of one hundred (100) percent of the application fee: $120.00

    2.

    Sewer Discharge Permit Issuance. This fee shall be assessed for development and issuance of the sewer discharge permit, for an effective duration of three years from the date of issuance: $260.00

    3.

    Sewer Discharge Permit Modification. This fee shall be assessed for permit modifications requested by the User, which shall include requests for permit transfer, permit extension, and other approved permit modifications: $120.00

    4.

    Site Inspection. This fee shall be assessed for each periodic site inspection of the non-domestic sewer facilities, wastewater treatment equipment, plumbing, wastewater monitoring equipment, and records. A maximum of three billable site inspections shall be assessed per calendar year for each permitted facility. The District may conduct additional site inspections as warranted and necessary: $120.00

    5.

    Wastewater Sample Collection. This fee shall be assessed for each wastewater sample collection event. The minimum number of sampling events will vary based on a case-by-case evaluation for each Industrial User and shall be specified in the Non-domestic Sewer Discharge Permit. The District may collect additional wastewater samples as warranted and necessary.

    Required wastewater collection methods can include both twenty-four-hour composite sampling methods and grab sampling methods, or wastewater samples can be collected using grab sampling methods only, as specified in State and Federal regulations. The required wastewater sample collection methods shall be specified in a Non-domestic Sewer Discharge Permit.

    Twenty-four-hour composite sampling: $120.00

    Grab sampling: $120.00

    6.

    Wastewater Sample Chemical Analysis. All wastewater samples shall be analyzed by an appropriately certified analytical laboratory with current ELAP or NELAP accreditation. The District shall recover the costs of laboratory analysis from the Non-domestic Sewer User, and the assessed charges shall be actual costs as billed by the laboratory.

    7.

    Wastewater Sampling Equipment Replacement shall be at cost.
