§ 4.08.040. Meter replacement fee.

A meter replacement fee will be charged, in addition to any other applicable fees, when an existing meter is replaced by a meter of a different size, at the request of the customer. Such fee will be based on actual cost of the replacement meter. If the meter is less than six years old it will be the full cost, if the meter is six (6) to ten (10) years old it will be one-half the cost, if the meter is ten (10) years or older there is no cost. Any meter increase or decrease requiring the installation of a new angle meter stop will be charged sixty dollars ($60.00) in addition to any other charges.
